Salvation is mine. I have believed on Christ Jesus of Nazareth and forgiveness of all sin and salvation have been granted to me. My name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. Christ Jesus came to this earth as a tiny baby and walked among us, teaching us to believe on Creator God, to be kind to one another, to be repentant, to do our best to be righteous, and to believe on Christ Jesus. Christ Jesus was crucified and resurrected from death to be with Creator God at the right hand of God so that we could have salvation from the devil and the hell that it is going to spend eternity in.
Christ Jesus preached to the people, saying “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God (John 3:18).”
There is not another way to have salvation. “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me (John 14:6).”
Christ Jesus also said, “ Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up by some other way, the same is a thief and a robber (John 10:1)”.
We must believe on Christ Jesus to have salvation, which means that we trust him for our needs. It is not enough to believe that Christ Jesus once lived, but we must also believe that he was resurrected from the grave by Creator God.
We must believe on Christ Jesus to the point that we do not call on gods or wind or thunders or snakes. Our faith must be in Christ Jesus and Creator God. There are those that believe that they must have what they want when they want it. These that call on other things that are not Christ Jesus or Creator God will not have salvation.
Jeremiah 7:1-15
1The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying, 2Stand in the gate of the LORD'S house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD. 3Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place. 4Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these. 5For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour; 6If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: 7Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever. 8Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit. 9Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; 10And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations? 11Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD. 12But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel. 13And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not; 14Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh. 15And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim.
I have included the entire text shown above so that you may see all its context, but there is more than one message contained within this scripture. First, the people are warned not to believe lies, steal, murder, commit adultery, or worship Baal because if they do the Lord Creator God will cast them out of his sight, which means that he will turn his back on them. Also included in this scripture is the promise that if they amend their ways and do not oppress the stranger, the fatherless, or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood that Creator God will allow them to stay in the land that was promised to their fathers, which is saying that they will be blessed.
Christ Jesus said in John 4:23, “but the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.”
Before Christ Jesus was crucified, Christ Jesus spoke to the people referring to himself as the shepherd. In John 10:27, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.”
The name of those that have salvation from Christ Jesus are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life and will one day go to heaven. Read below the scripture describing heaven and how those that have their names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will one day go there.
Revelation 21:9-27
9And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. 10And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, 11Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; 12And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: 13On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. 14And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. 15And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. 16And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. 17And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. 18And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. 19And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; 20The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. 21And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. 22And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. 23And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. 24And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. 25And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. 26And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. 27And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.
For those that have salvation, they have the promise of heaven. However, we are also warned in 1 Peter 5:8, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour”. While the devil tries to act against people, he does not have power over them.
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. - (James 2:19)
Even when we are surrounded by unbelievers, the spirits know that Creator God and Christ Jesus are real and they fear them. In addition, we have been given power over the devil because Christ Jesus gave power over the devil to his disciples.
Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. - (Luke 9:1)
The Holy Bible promises in Romans 10:9, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
In the name of Christ Jesus of Nazareth, I pray and request that Christ Jesus and Creator know that I believe on Christ Jesus and I believe that Christ Jesus was crucified without sin and was risen from death by Creator God. I pray that Christ Jesus of Nazareth forgive my sin and be my Lord and Savior. I also pray and request that Christ Jesus transform my life that I may be and become all that Creator God intended for me to be. I pray and request that I be protected from sin and that I know truth always and protect me from temptation. I praise the Lord Christ Jesus and his father Lord Creator God and I pray that you are with me always. Amen.
