The promises of God belong to all of the children of God, which are those persons who believe on Christ Jesus, and have made a profession of faith to Christ Jesus, and to God the creator. The Holy Bible is full of Gods promises and it is our task to ask God for these promises to be delivered to us. The Holy Bible is Gods Holy Word, and Gods Word has power. Our spoken word has power, and it is empowered when we speak Gods Word.
Speaking Gods Word empowers us on two levels. First, the speaking of Gods Word calls Gods attention to us. The speaking of Gods Word calls Gods angels attention to us. The speaking of Gods Word reminds those things that combat us and act against us that we belong to the Lord God, and that they are acting against Gods own. Secondly, the speaking of Gods Word acts to empower our words, as long as our words are in agreement with Gods words. The speaking of Gods Word acts to empower our words, because when our words are Gods words, then our words have Gods power. Speaking Gods Words also acts to reestablish Gods Words.
We should each proclaim Gods Words and Gods Promises over our lives, our children, our health, our jobs, and our finances. We should speak with our mouth, Gods Words through out our homes, our workplaces, our schools, and the streets.
I remember a story where some people went into a school, before class each day, and spoke Gods Words and prayed over the desks where students sat. They said that the students that sat at those desks, where they had established God Words and prayed, actually performed better in school. What an awesome difference!
I have listed some of Gods Promises, which are Gods Words, that we can all proclaim. Speak them, proclaim them, with your voice, and see the amazing difference in your life!
It is important to remember that the Holy Bible warns us to not change or alter Gods Word, and to not add to it, or take away from it. It is also important to remember that our words are not ever Gods Words.

And Jesus answering, saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:22-24
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized, shall be saved; but he that believeth not, shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:15-18
Speak Gods Words into your life, and into your home as often as possible. See the change that it makes. And now let us pray,
In the name of Christ Jesus, I pray that each person that proclaims Gods promises and speaks them over their lives, be richly blessed and forever changed. God, make us what you want us to be. Lead us through troubled times. Shelter us from harm. Melt our hearts with your love. Show us the way. In the name of Christ Jesus, I pray this request. Amen.
